Meet the Directors
MARIA LIATIS, Director/Writer
Maria Liatis is an actress, audiobook narrator, acting coach, writer, producer and director in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre. She is represented by Carol Shaginaw Talent Agency and People Store Agency, and currently works as the Education Director for Sketchworks Comedy Theatre.
She was a Producer and 1st AD for the mockumentary short film “34 Inches” (2017), the Executive Producer of the feature film Go Mad and Mark (2017), and the writer and director for the short film “Shell” (2021). For more information, check out www.MariaLiatis.com.
MICHAEL GORGOGLIONE, DP/Editor
Michael Gorgoglione started his career in Chicago studying sketch and improv comedy at The Second City and I/O. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA where he continues to create a body of work ranging from films for public access television to video sketch comedy. His work is defined by a rebellious, experimental, DIY, punk rock aesthetic that challenges the norms of conventional Hollywood and is often provocative in style which demands audiences to view the world through an untamed, surrealist lens. "I make films to entertain myself and just hope that there's somebody out there that likes what I'm doing."
